Tangy Plum Crisp

INGREDIENTS :

  • 2 plums, pitted and chopped
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup sifted pain flour
  • 1½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 beaten egg
  • ½ cup melted butter

DIRECTIONS :

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a 20cm square baking dish.
  2. Spread the plums out into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with a ¼ cup sugar.
  3. In a bowl, mix together with remaining sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Combine with beaten egg and spoon the mixture over the plums. Drizzle batter with melted butter.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until the topping is brown, about 40 minutes.
