A deciduous medium sized shrub which is self pollinating.

NAME Pomegranate Rosavaya
BOTANICAL NAME Punica granatum
KEY FEATURES Large red flowers appear in early summer followed by edible pink fruit in late autumn.
Pomegranate seeds can be eaten whole and taste great with added sugar or cream. Fruit can also be juiced.
GROWING CONDITIONS Prefers a warm sunny sheltered position with well drained soil.
PLANT CARE Harvest the largest, best coloured fruit first.
Prune to shape and fertilise in spring.
