The jostaberry is a cross between the black currant and the gooseberry and is high in Vitamin C.

KEY FEATURES This thornless variety fruits from early to late summer, producing a high yielding crimson to black rounded fruit.
Fruit can be eaten fresh or cooked in jams, pies and tarts.
GROWING CONDITIONS This plant will thrive in full sun, in moist well drained soil.
PLANT CARE Apply rich organic matter to retain moisture and curb weed growth.
Canes should be pruned during winter to encourage new growth throughout the spring.
