KEY FEATURES Small to medium red berries are produced during summer and are ideal for eating fresh or for use in tarts and preserves.
GROWING CONDITIONS Prefers the morning sun with afternoon part shade in a soil with organic matter.
Tolerates poor drainage.
PLANT CARE Mulch well to retain soil moisture and reduce weeds.
Requires less pruning than most fruits, every 2-3 years.
For best results feed with organic fertiliser in spring.
