Fig and Ricotta Toasties



  • 6 thick slices crusty bread such as Ciabatta
  • ¾ cup fresh ricotta
  • 6 slices prosciutto
  • 3 fresh ripe figs, cut into quarters
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Lime wedges, to serve


  1. Toast the bread until light golden and crisp. Spread each slice with ricotta.
  2. Top each slice with a slice of prosciutto and 2 fig quarters.
  3. Divide toasties among serving plates. Drizzle with honey and season with pepper.
  4. Serve immediately with lime wedges, if desired.
